I'm confident if you follow the steps I lay out for you, that you too will be a 'Clickbank Super Affiliate' very, very soon!
Let's get started with the basics. So who is Clickbank?
Clickbank is the middle man. They are the buffer between the product owners and the affiliates. Most of their products are membership sites and information products. No physical products are sold through Clickbank... BUT there is a way to sell a physical product that we can cover in another article.
As it stands now, Clickbank has over 100,000 affiliates, making them the largest seller of info products. They way to check out these products is to go to Clickbank marketplace. Open it up now. I'll wait...
Clickbank super affiliates like you and me. Well, I mean... you will be, right? We go to Clickbank because it is like going to Bass Pro shop if you're a fisherman. Products are everywhere and some pay out 75% of the sale of the book. Can you say 'goldmine'?
A clickbank super affiliate is usually considered to be one of the top ten affiliates for a product. However, being a super affiliate is a hard task! Super affiliates generally do more than is required to make the sale.
(Hint: Becoming a clickbank super affiliate means doing more than the average internet marketer. But once you have a formula. Voila!
Instead we promote the heck out of it!
Building relationships... getting people to like you... these are the basic tools of the clickbank super affiliate.
Driving massive amounts of targeted traffic to the site will guarantee the sale... Targeted traffic is the key in that last sentence in case you missed it. Tried and true methods work every time. But to beat the competition means you have to stand out in the crowd... but you will, I promise.
Finding the Hot Products to Promote
Ride the wave. Find out what is hot on Clickbank and what is already selling well. Don't try to find the one that will be the champ... At least not in the beginning. Look at the sales page. Would you buy?
Customers will not buy junk that the sales page looks like your 2 year old wrote it.
** There are ways to work around a bad sales letter but that is getting a little advanced.
First step: Find the niche that you want to get started with. What is hot? What is not? What are you interested in? What do you know about? This makes it easier to write about it but not entirely necessary.
If you didn't check out Clickbank Marketplace, now is the time. That way I can walk you through it.
Enter your niche keyword into the box. Make sure to sort by 'High Gravity' as this will help you see the hottest products and the ones that are converting the best.
Everything you need to know about the niche and its products are right here. You can view the sales page. You can check out the affiliate page and what is the payout. This comes next...
$Earned/Sale - This is the amount earned per sale. The higher this number is the more you will earn.
Future $ - This is a new feature and has to do with promoting membership sites. This is how much will be made in the future.
Total $ - This is the average earnings from the initial sales as well as re-bills.
%Earned/Sale - Percentage of the sale price you will earn. This is always between 1% and 75%.
%Referred - This is the percentage of sales that are made by affiliates.
Gravity - This basically shows how popular the product has been recently. Usually the higher this number is the better. In a general sense, this is how many affiliates have sold this product in a 8 week period...
Once you have done a search and found some suitable products you need to find the one that is going to start making you some money. You need to checkout the website and read through the sales copy. Does it make you want to buy? Would it persuade potential customers to buy? It should.
Check out the affiliate page. Most should include email templates, articles with private label rights and promotion banners which can all be used to promote their products. The more free promotional tools you have to promote the product, the better.
Don't just choose the product because it converts well; do a search on Google for the product, how many sponsored ads are there? Dig deep instead of randomly choosing a product.
It's incredibly hard to find the right product to promote. A lot of people who want to become clickbank super affiliates go after the make money sites and to me this is a mistake. The big boys dominant these sites and there are so many niches that are better.
It is, however, much easier to promote an affiliate product in a smaller niche, horse training for example.
Take the time to dig deep and find a good product. This is the foundation and this will either make you or break you. Researching in the beginning is vital. Now, don't let me see you researching a month from now... but take a day or two.
